Keynote Speaker: Bonnie Artman Fox, MS, LMFT

Workplace conflict expert, Bonnie Artman Fox, MS, LMFT, is an accredited leadership coach, author, and professional speaker based in Pittsburgh, PA. Known for her innovative Workplace Family Factor® and Conscious Choice programs, Bonnie equips executive leaders and team managers with powerful communication tools to stop divisive behaviors, resolve conflict, and build the team trust to create healthy work cultures that drive results. Previously, Bonnie worked as a psychiatric nurse and licensed marriage and family therapist. A dynamic professional and woman of faith, she is a kindred spirit to Samaritan. She will share how counseling, faith, and pertinacity change generational patterns through her keynote message, Your Family Is in Your Office: Turning Scars into Strengths.

Emcee: The Rev. Dr. Graham Standish, PhD, MSW, MDiv, MA

Pastor, author, speaker, former mental health counselor, and current executive director of Samaritan, Graham will serve as our master of ceremonies. Graham earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in formative spirituality from Duquesne University, his Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, and his Master of Divinity from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Graham has given numerous talks across the U.S. and continues to enrich others’ lives through his presentations, blogs, and articles for national publications. Before coming to Samaritan, Graham had built a thriving faith community, Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople, during his 20+ years as the senior pastor. In addition to his responsibilities as our E.D., Graham provides clergy coaching, spiritual direction, church consultations and other services as the director of our Caring for Clergy and Congregations program. Since his appointment in 2017, Graham has used his expertise in leadership, spirituality, and mental health to educate our staff in integrating spirituality into therapy, and to increase the number of clients we serve by 140%. Prepare to be delighted and inspired by Graham's sense of humor and deeply felt passion for the work we do at Samaritan.

Performing Artists: Rachel Fagan and David English

You will be captivated by Rachel Fagan's phenomenal voice that she will share with us during the cocktail hour. A woman of many talents, Rachel is a teacher, gifted musician, wife, mother, and master-certified life coach and Positive Intelligence® Mental Fitness coach for Samaritan. Rachel coaches business executives, entrepreneurs, and any other adults who seek to clarify and achieve their life goals. She will be accompanied by Dr. David English on the keyboard.

Dr. David English, a retired optometrist, is the founder and creative director of A Circle of Friends Vocal and Bell Choir, a Butler County nonprofit that shares its faith through a variety of genres of secular and Christian music. He is also the owner/administrator of the Glen Eden Event Center in Evans City where A Circle of Friends performs. The choir holds 10 concerts annually and collects donations at its performances for area charities, raising more than $300,000 since its inception in 2010. In addition to directing the choir, Dr. English sings and plays piano.

As always, we'll also include gift baskets with wine and a variety of curated products.

Write in your bids and check back to see who may have outbid you--a situation you will want to remedy! We will let you know when the auction is closed and announce the winners shortly afterwards. Samaritan staff will be on hand to get you checked out promptly.

Cocktail Hour, Dinner and Program

Our goal is to offer you a purely pleasant and memorable experience! Arrive promptly at 6 o'clock to enjoy libations and hors d'oeuvres, camaraderie, and live music. With a drink in hand, afford yourself time to browse our auction and gift raffle display. Take the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and write in your auction bids. At 7 o'clock, your gourmet dinner will be served to you in LeMont's lovely banquet hall overlooking the incredible, sprawling view of the city of Pittsburgh. If you are not part of a group reservation, select a table at which to enjoy your meal in our open-seating arrangement. Prepare to revel in the sounds of soft jazz and feel free to revisit the auction and raffle displays as well as the cash bar which will remain open all evening. Finally, savor dessert and your favorite after-dinner beverage while our speakers offer you their insightful messages sprinkled with humor and warmth.

Samaritan offers spiritually-integrated psychotherapy to people struggling with mental, emotional, and relational pain, regardless of their ability to pay. Annually, ~1,400 Western Pennsylvanians experience healing, hope, and life-changing growth at Samaritan.

Mental healthcare is in dire shortage in Pennsylvania. Your support will help us keep our doors open to so many people who are desperate for care, and offer treatment to our most vulnerable clients—those experiencing financial hardship.
